Which are better? The cars of Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi. Looking at both of their car garages, the battle is closer than ever. While Cristiano has so many cars he doesn’t even know exactly how many he has in his garage (he thinks around 20) but Messi on the other hand could have the upper hand in the most expensive car out of the two of them, with a Ferrari costing over 30$ million. But unfortunately, it is not confirmed if Messi did buy it at the Paris car auction as the buyer remained anonymous but it is rumored that he was in fact, the new owner.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Cars
Ronaldo’s favorites are supercars, he looks like the real-life version of Batman with his black Aventador. But growing up Ronaldo’s family didn’t even have a car. His upbringing in Portugal was modest and he and his friends would use to wait around at a restaurant to get free burgers from when they closed up. Perhaps his lack of money as a youngster is why he likes expensive cars that much.

Total value of cars of Cristiano Ronaldo is 25-30$ million dollars. The rarest cars are obviously the Bugattis and one of the more collectible cars is also the Ferrari F12tdf released in 2015 which is a rear-wheel drive and front engine supercar but not any regular one, its the special version of the F12.

Ronaldo car crash
Over the years at least 2 cars of Cristiano Ronaldo have crashed. One is a Ferrari 599GTB costing around 200 000$ and the other is a very expensive Bugatti Veyron.
He crashed the Ferrari while playing for Manchester United in 2009. He was driving to the training grounds through a tunnel near the airport and crashed. The car hit a roadside barrier and blew a rear tire. He was going there with a fellow Manu player, the GK Edwin van der Sar who was behind him in his Bentley. Ronaldo was unhurt but the front side of the car was completely wrecked. Later he arrived at the Carrington training complex.
The totaled Ferrari was offered for sale for £40 000 in France.
The over 1$ million Bugatti Veyron was in an accident in the June of 2022. He was traveling in a convoy towards his yacht while on holiday in Majorca and his bodyguard was in charge of the Bugatti but unfortunately crashed it into a stone wall. The wall was protecting a mansion and Ronaldo promised to pay for the damages caused to the owner. Everyone involved were safe except the mansion’s owners dog who might have been injured.
Formula 1
Cristiano Ronaldo has made friends with multiple F1 drivers as well. In 2019 he went to see the Monaco GP where he met the 7-time champion Lewis Hamilton and Ronaldo Jr got to sit in Lewis’ car. He met Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc when he visited the Ferrari headquarters. Cristiano also got to drive around the Fiorano track with the F1 stars. Previously he has also driven in a McLaren with Jenson Button at the wheel. Sebastian Vettel and Leclerc have also played a football match with CR7, a charity match called Partita del Cuore which focuses on cancer research. And who knows, maybe an F1 racer will one day be in the fleet of cars of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Lionel Messi’s Cars
In terms of supercars, Messi’s collection is lacking in quantity but it makes up in terms of rarity if the rumored Ferrari that was auctioned off is really his. Most frequently has Messi been spotted with his Audis and the Maserati which makes a great noise and is one of the fastest cars in his collection. The Audis were given to all Barcelona players through sponsorship. Lionel Messi is a lot more laid back and conservative when it comes to cars than Ronaldo and doesn’t really post pictures posing next to them on social media. He also seems to prefer to drive SUVs more.

Cars of Cristiano Ronaldo vs Messi is close in terms of possible total value but Ronaldo seems to enjoy cars more and has a way bigger variety which means we have to give him the title of the better car collection out of the two of them. Messi does have 2 more Balloon d’Ors to his name. As new models will roll out, Cristiano will be picking them up for sure, hopefully, Messi as well will open up his garage a bit more and get some new whips considering he makes around 100 million dollars each year.
