The best 2011-2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe
The C350 model made from 2011 to 2015 is the best value coupe you can get right now. Higher mileage cars go for $16 000/14 000€ and lower mileage/better-optioned ones go for a few thousand extra to ten thousand extra. If you don’t need a powerful car you can even get better deals on C180/C250 etc. models. The C350 model is more geared towards the enthusiast market and might not be a good fit if you don’t care about performance.
For that price, you get a lot of car. It’s powerful, cranking out 306hp from the V6 engine coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission. It’s also reliable and modifiable which makes it a great daily driver and to top it all off it’s ok with petrol( 6,8 l/100km (combined), 23MPG).
This specific C350 comes in black with a red leather interior. It has driven 221 000km/137 000 miles and could easily go double the distance. The price: 13 990€/$16 500.
C-Class coupe interior: Luxury of Mercedes-Benz
The interior is okay for a mid-2010s car. It is certainly showing its age but some features are still very cool. Firstly, the leather seats. It comes in red interior or beige, brown, grey, and black are available as well for something more subtle.
The seats are comfortable for long rides and sporty, providing good grip on the sides. The seating position is definitely sportier than a regular car and the ride is harder as well but it is nothing crazy like in a race car. It’s totally good for the daily driving experience. There’s good visibility outside and the mirrors are great as well.
Panoramic sunroof of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Another exciting option on the C350 is the panoramic sunroof which makes all Mercedes models heaps cooler but it works especially well in this model. The car is perfect for cruising in sunny weather with the roof back. Giving the interior a very light and open atmosphere.
Mercedes steering wheel and infotainment
The steering wheel is still great and there’s even a possibility to upgrade to a custom steering wheel to make it look even more modern. The dials are clear with a small screen in the middle which provides gearing, radio, etc. information in a quick glance.
One of the parts where its age is most apparent is the infotainment system. The controls themselves are a bit like a 2000s stereo system, the screen itself is pretty big and good for its time but it’s nothing fancy today.
Mercedes C-Class coupe exterior
To be the best 2011-2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe it has to tick off the exterior as well. Fortunately, it is one of the trumps. It looks beefy, the body lines are very strong and the wheel arches are wide. The front is mean, with glaring eyes the huge Mercedes star. With some AMG parts, you could make it look extra jacked up, one of the craziest parts to add would be a rear diffuser.
Performance of the C350 coupe
Buy this car if you are after the performance coupled with comfiness. It is not the best handling car when compared to its rival BMWs but it merges luxury and speed better than any other model.
A 3.5 liter V6 making a tad over 300 horses and 273lbs of torque. From 0 to 60 in mid 5s. It (the engine) doesn’t sound crazy but does have a soft and enthusiastic burble to it. This can be further advanced by exhaust mods. The brakes are good, so are the 18inch wheels and handling. In my opinion, it is the best Mercedes c class coupe because of the way it manages to combine the performance to daily driveability. It’s not an insane car but a lot of fun.

The reliability of 2011-2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe
How reliable is the best Mercedes c class coupe? It’s reliable but it’s definitely not a zero-worry tank. The engine and transmission are solid with no big problems reported but one smaller problem is the engine knock reported by some owners which happens for a few seconds after startup and are caused by check valves. Since it’s a known problem, it can easily be fixed and most cars are already fixed under warranty. If something does go wrong, the repair bills will definitely be on the pricier side and it probably shouldn’t be your first car.
Alternatives to the best Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe
Even though the C350 is regarded as one of the best Mercedes C Class coupes, there are still some alternatives to look at from other brands. The Audi A5 and BMW 3/4 series coupes which are similar in breed could be on the table. If you want something different but still a 2 door car, the Toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ or Ford Mustang could be fun options as well.
Fun fact: the c-class coupe has even made its way to the infamous Mid Night Club where members drive a modified version of the more powerful C63 AMG.
